The original football stadium at Shawnee Mission North was torn down in 2005 and rebuilt with new stands, concession stands, locker rooms, and turf field in 2006-2007.
My information:
Football is big in the Sunflower League where perennially the winner of the League will face strong opposition from out west for the State Title. The game under the lights shown is from 9/11/09 where Shawnee Mission North Indians (my alma mater) in red defeated the Leavenworth Pioneers 41-0.
