[FR] Avec ses 8.70 mètres, dont plus de 7 mètres au dessus du sol, c'est le plus haut menhir de Vendée.
Sa grande masse l'a sauvé de la destruction. Il est le seul rescapé d'un ensemble de pierre dressées signalé au siècle dernier.
On notera que l'actuel hôtel de ville était alors "l'auberge des trois piliers".

[ENG] With its 8.70 meters high, with more than 7 meters above ground, it is the highest menhir in Vendee area.
Its mass saved it from destruction and it is the only survivor of a set of standing stones reported in the last century.
Note that the current City Hall was then named the "inn of the three pillars".
