Long Description:
I understand the local vocational school kids constructed the monument. I drove by this way last year and failed to WM the location. While traveling in the area on the anniversary, I wanted to stop by the site again. Kind of quiet that day. Site also has a memorial to a local Medal of Honor recipient from the Korean War, David Monroe Smith.
