In 2004 Train Mountain was listed as the World’s Longest Miniature Hobby Railroad with over 13 miles of active mainline track. In the late summer of 2009 the park featured over 25 miles of total trackage and projected 30 miles before winter sets in.

Train Mountain is open only to members. Tours can be arranged if you call in advance. The
Klamath and Western Railroad operates on a portion of the tracks at Train Mountain and is open to the public on Memorial and Labor Day and on Sundays during the summer months.
Friends of Train Mountain is a group of Train Mountain members who are committed to building new runs on the over 2,000 acres of Train Mountain land.
