Forlorn caboose on southwest side of Chicago, IL

Found this while driving by on the way back from the White Sox game. Unlike so many of the other waymarked cabooses, this one sits forlornly in a fenced in area, in need of a good cleaning and paint job.

No identifying markings of any kind. Located not far from the Cook County courthouse and prison system, near 31st & California.
Just got a note from caboose9. Apparently it's a Kansas, Oklahoma & Gulf caboose. See (
