I have seen this helicopter many times while going to and returning home from my daughter's home in the Charlotte, NC area. The post home is located on a curve that sneaks up on you. If you are not careful on this road you will be part of the display. It is on a concrete pad with shrubbery and small fence to keep one at arms length from the chopper. It is in pretty good condition with a mini-gun on the nose and rocket pods mounted each side. From descriptions I located on several internet sites, I think this may be the AH-1F version. If you enjoy these static displays, this is one you should not miss.
