Long Description:

SNL Financials is one of America's leading financial advisors. It was originally founded as "S&L Securities" in New Jersey in 1987 with an initial focus on the savings and loan industry. But state law would not permit the incorporation of a non-bank with "S&L" in the official company name.

So we replaced the "&" with an "N" to create "SNL."


The flag depicts parts of a punch-tape - when the company was founded, punch-tapes were still used for stock market tickers.

The author of this waymark has been a proud employee of SNL's California branch for more than eight years.
