The dam is one of the nicest and oldest dams in the CR, Doubrava lies on the river above the village. Impetus for the construction of the dam was the high water from the years 1885, 1888 and 1897, which were then the largest in Doubrava. Construction took place during the period 1908 to 1913. Works were originally intended to protect against floods and improve flow in dry periods, it is currently still benefits extended to the production of electricity. The tank also uses local organizations of Czech Fishing Union Bestvina as water sports.

Tato prehrada je jedna z nejhezcích a nejstarších prehrad na území CR, leží na rece Doubrave nad obcí. Podnetem k výstavbe prehrady byly velké vody z let 1885, 1888 a 1897, které patrily tehdy k nejvetším na Doubrave. Výstavba probíhala v období let 1908 až 1913. Puvodní urcení díla byla ochrana pred povodnemi a zlepšení prutoku v suchých obdobích, v soucasné dobe je ješte užitek rozšíren o výrobu elektrické energie. Nádrž také užívá místní organizace Ceského rybárského svazu Bestvina jako Sportovní vodu.
