This beautiful church can be found on a busy intersection in downtown Ocean City, a few blocks from the boardwalk and ocean. The structure is marked by four huge Corinthian-like columns out front and an interesting green dome or cap on top.

Ocean City Baptist Church was formed in 1898 when a pastor and 28 members from an area church recognized the need for a ministry in Ocean City. After moving several times through its early years, it found its permanent home in 1926 on the corner of 10th Street and Wesley Avenue. So says the cornerstone on the far right of the building. Unfortunately, when I visited it was dusk and late so I did not have the chance to go inside.
