Harrison park picnic pavilion and playground is on the west side of Kingsley; basketball / tennis court is just north of the trailhead.
Beaver Creek Park trail system was constructed in the mid-1970's. The trails are lighted and hard surfaced. Most of the trail system is shaded by mature trees. There are intermediate entrances on Lincoln Ave. (southbound), Nebraska Avenue, and East Nobes Road. The east entrance is on the west side of Blackburn Avenue, south of the Beaver Creek Bridge.
The park also serves as a flood control measure, and is designed to allow high water in Beaver Creek to pass through York safely.
