In downtown Dedham, at the intersection of High Street and Eastern Avenue, is Dedham Square Coffeehouse.
Dedham Square Coffeehouse is right at the intersection in a block of stores on the north side of the intersection.
The place is roomy, with tables and chairs toward the front and along one wall of the building, and the counter and kitchen on the other side and toward the back. The menu includes sandwiches, soups, and other desserts, and quite a selection of coffee-espresso and smoothie drinks. They also serve a respectable number of offerings of beer and wine.
On Friday and Saturday nights, Dedham Square Coffeehouse has live music featuring up and coming solo and group musicians, usually in the folk genre but classical, jazz and rock have been heard there as well.
Come on down! You might even see me playing cards!

20160515 - Edited - changed the name from Cafe Paradise to Dedham Square Coffeehouse, which changed a few months ago. Also changed some wording, and changed the Facebook page.
20131112 - Rewritten - old information below [to capture changes-it explains why older pictures include shelves of videos - but now I need to take a new picture of the front!]
...is a combination eating/video rental place.
When you enter the building, you see the two sides, literally divided down the store: the videos are on the right and back of the store, while the food service on the front and left side.
They have a pretty full selection, including coffee, espresso, and teas, as well as soft drinks. There is a limited but good selection of sandwiches and salads. My favorite is the turkey muenster panini. In the front are tables and chairs, and even a fireplace. WiFi is available for free there.
