Long Description:
In the downtown section of Dedham, on one of the municipal parking lots that is on Eastern Avenue, near Bryant Street and the Providence Highway, is the Dedham Farmers' Market on Wednesdays from April through October.

The market is a temporary set up, where vendors pitch tarps, tents and trucks to sell their produce. Dedham, itself, has no farms. So many farms from the vicinity come in. At the time of visiting, there was a cooperative of home gardeners from neighboring Needham there, as well as Spring Brook Farm in Littleton. There was the Ever So Humble Pie Co. from E. Walpole that made incredible pies such as strawberry rhubarb and blueberry. There was a vendor that sold seafood.

In addition, there were tents for charities. I had helped out when a watershed group that I was a member of had a tent one week. Also, a band may play there to help in the festive occasion.

The market is supported by the Dedham Square Circle, which is a local business support organization. Come down!
