The Whakatohea Maori Trust Board has their own handcrafted 'doorway of the world' featuring a traditional Maori carving framing the door on their premises in St John Street, Opotiki. The intricate carving transforms a rather ordinary doorway into something very special.
A fine example of Maori carving by skilled local carvers.
