This old bridge was once the main road bridge from Tavistock and Princetown, it is now disused since the new road was built in the 1950's.
The bridge was used to take cars over the River Walkham, you can still drive over it, but you will have to turn around as the road soon stops as the embankment of the new road has been placed right across the old road.
