This pedestrian suspension bridge is reached via Cox Mountain Trail at the Few's Ford District of the Eno River State Park in North Carolina. (The trail also has an Eagle Scout Project waymark on it.) The park has a Durham, NC mailing address, but is in nearby Orange County.
This is a very popular bridge and area of the park, especially in summer when the weather is hot. Kids like to play in the shallow summer waters of the Eno River. Several trails and campsites are reached by using this bridge.
Note the first photo below. The sign on the right is the high water mark for the Eno River during Hurricane Fran on September 6, 1996. The bridge was almost completely underwater, but survived the flood.
