This graphic features a group of ice sailors, probably at Lake Hopatcong in northwest New Jersey. This lake is over 9 miles long and is a popular area for all types of outdoor recreation, both summer and winter. There is a Lake Hopatcong State Park, a history museum, and a number of marinas and businesses catering to visitors.
The actual borough of Hopatcong stretches along the west side of the lake and is home to approximately 16,000 people. The town is just 40 miles from New York City.
