Its heritage is currently unknown but today this captive caboose sports the logo and colors of Smith Logging. The name of this caboose is an apparent nod to the creator of Camp 18's logging museum Gordon Smith. This VIA Magazine article paints a wonderful portrait of the man who started Camp 18. The caboose sports a GS logo and a local phone number but not the one used by the restaurant at this time. This location now uses the appropriate 755-1818 as a phone number.

This is part of the many logging related artifacts that can be found at the Camp 18 Restaurant and Logging Museum located in Elsie, Oregon.
