Long Description:
Martin Park is one of OKC's hidden treasures. It is an absolutely
beautiful area that the whole family will enjoy. You can purchase
cat food or bring your own dog or cat food to feed to the giant
turtles and catfish. You can stop at the first bridge on the trail
and throw the food to the fish and turtles. The 3.5 miles of trails
are very well maintained, there is a lookout tower, bird viewing
walls, a creek for the kids to play in, and a really cool nature
center. One of the gravel trails is wheelchair accessible. Guided
tours can be scheduled for $2/person. A variety of classes are
offered by the nature center.
The park is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Hours on Wednesdays
thru Sundays are 9-6, 51 weeks of the year.

Since this is a wildlife sanctuary, fishing, pets, hunting,
bicycles, swimming, and campfires are not allowed.

themselves (or GPS unit) either inside or outside of the nature
center visited. Logs without photos WILL be allowed if a lenghty
description of one's visit and a mention of what they learned is
included.
