This Statue of Liberty used to be located at the Edmond Library park. When our local celebrity Shannon Miller became an Olympic sensation, Liberty Park was renamed Shannon Miller Park, and a beautiful bronze statue was placed there to honor her. The Statue of Liberty disappeared for awhile, but then showed up here at the intersection. It is a fun statue for visitors to Edmond to see.
The statue was dedicated by the Boy Scouts of America in 1950.
Location: Boulevard/2nd St.
