KENT, Peter, Sarah Ann, W85, VA Line, sol appl 5 Mar 1833 Greene Co TN, sol was b 5 Mar 1760 in Fairfax Co VA & in 1791 he moved to Wilkes Co GA & in 1825 he moved to Greene Co TN & his wid appl there 28 Jan 1845 aged 83 on 13 Feb 1844, sol & wid had m 7 May 1779 in Fairfax Co VA & sol d 23 Dec 1843,, sol’s & wife’s 8th child Harriet Johnson made aff’dt 23 Mar 1844 in Greene Co TN aged 40, the only births shown were; Elizath Kent b 11 Feb 1781, Ann Perry Kent b 27 Oct 1783, John Kent b 4 Jul 1799 & Sarah Reynolds b 1 Apr 1802 (Sarah’s name was not shown as a Kent).

Peter Kent- Revolutionary War Soldier-----Guarded Mt. Vernon- swam the Potomac River to help destroy a British Man-o-War, only 4 men survived of the Americans.
