Frank E. Pohl, father of Giant Orange stands in Northern California, built these from the 1930s through the 1950s. Today only two of his original sixteen stands remain.
This Giant Orange, operating as Marks Hot Dogs, has been in business since 1936, although the location has moved. The parking lot is small, about 8 cars, but if you turn on your lights in the parking lot, curb service is available. Covered outdoor seating is also available at four nice orange picnic tables. They have plain hot dogs, chili dogs, sauerkraut hot dogs, hot dogs with cheese, bowls of chili beans, shakes, floats, chips, and drinks including the classic orange juice.
Their address is now:
48 South Capitol Avenue
