Tanger Ferry terminal with conection to Tarifa, Algeciras, Gibraltar, Barcelona and Genoa.
The anounced travel time is about 35 minutes. But the ship will take about 1 hour to leave after the scheduled time and the bureaucracy will take you lots of time.
Everything is done on land.
If you're taking your vehicle be prepared to roam from line to line for 2 hours where everything is checked and re-checked, both on getting in and out of the ship.
There are ferries every 2 hours that can carry both passenger and vehicles (trucks included in the bigger ships). On board there is a cafeteria where you can eat and there's also a Duty Free shop that will only be open while the ship is moving.
As usual in Morocco you can buy food and souvenir to the people that roam around and will offer you their services and items.
Be aware of the guys that are always ready to help but that will ask you money in the end. Make sure you get you passport stamped with the "leaving" stamp by the police before getting in the harbour.
Inside the harbour make sure you follow the correct indications for your destination. Every destination has a different area.
The harbour is located in the west end of the beach avenue. There are signs indicating it.
