This old windmill lies in the village of Upwood.

Located in the south of the village the windmill is noticeable for some distance. It has no sails anymore but the tower is still visible and it is now used as a private residence.
This is the western edge of the fens where windmills were used for a long while as the flat terrain meant the wind swept across the landscape.
