This is an adorable sculpture by Gary Alsum, placed near the entrance of the Tye F. Cunningham Disc Golf Course in beautiful Mitch Park (Edmond, OK). The sculpture is also near the largest pavilion and a huge playground, so it is seen by many visitors to the park. The disc golf course begins right behind the nearby pavilion. As a dog-lover, this bronze statue caught my attention as soon as it was placed. Our favorite game to play with our dogs at home is Hide and Seek in the backyard.
Mitch Park has a multitude of recreational activities: miles of walking/bicycling trails, two playgrounds, fishing pond, amphitheater, 5 pavilions for rent, skate park, basketball court, sand volleyball court, and many ball fields.

*10/9/2012: Due to construction of the Rec/Aquatic Center, this statue is temporarily inaccessible. I will update the waymark when the construction is finished.
Breed: Mutt

Date Built: 2005/12/1
