This cove, outside right field of AT&T Park, is named after Willie McCovey, a Giants Hall of Fame first baseman. Barry Bonds hit home runs out here 35 times.

In the SF Giants edition of Monopoly, most of the properties are named after famous players with the SF Giants, but two properties are named after places. McCovey Cove is one of those places.
In 2007, when the Home Run Derby and All Star Game were held at AT&T Park, McCovey Cove was covered with over 500 paddlers with kayaks and anything that floated.
Inside AT&T Park on the right field wall, there is a small digital display, showing the "Splash Count". At my last in August, 2009, the count was at 49. It's amazing that Barry Bonds is responsible for 35 of those homers.
