Puente de Ramallosa
Data de principios del siglo XIII. Está construido en granito y posee diez ojos, unos en forma de arco de medio punto, otros ojivales. Entre ellos, los pilares están dotados de tajamares a ambos lados del puente ya que deben resistir tanto la corriente del río Miñor, durante la bajamar, como la subida de la marea.
En el centro del puente destaca un crucero con una imagen de San Telmo, patrón de los navegantes y, bajo ella, un pequeño retablo con tres ánimas.
Cuenta la leyenda que sobre el puente se celebraban ritos de fertilidad por parte de mujeres con dificultad para concebir. Así, la mujer se situaba en el puente y debía convencer al primer hombre que pasase tras la medianoche para que le vertiese agua del río sobre el vientre y aceptase apadrinar al futuro hijo.
English version
The bridge was built during the first half of the 13th century. It is built of granite and has ten spans, some in half-point arc, other ogival. Among them, the pillars are equipped with cutwaters on either side of the bridge as it must resist both the river Miñor during low tide, the rising tide.
In the middle of the bridge includes a cruise on an image of San Telmo, the patron of sailors, and below this a small altar with three souls.
Fertility rites were celebrated upon this bridge. After midnight, women who couldn't get pregnant had to persuade the first man crossing the bridge to pour water onto their wombs and to be godfather of their baby.
