This authentic, original crapper has been restored to its original glory. it is a single room john, with an "A" roof. For a bathroom, it is very attractive. This is one of several outhouses located on the grounds of the farmstead.

The farmstead was bought in 1974 and has been restored both inside and out and now serves as a beautiful, period museum, giving a glimpse into the life of early 19th century Quakers. it is one of the last tangible roots to our former agrarian way of life in West Jersey.

Location:
The privy has no history except it is part of the NRHP site and was here originally.
