Imagine a humble dumpling stuffed with mashed potatoes, cheese, farmer's cheese, bryndza, cabbage, sauerkraut, meat, mushrooms or fruit being featured on the Travel Channel and The Food Network. And then having a festival dedicated to it!!!
This 3 day event has it all - food, polka music, kid's entertainment area, a craft area, a beer garden and a parade with its special precision lawn-mower drill team, the Babushka Brigade, the world's original Lazy Boy float, high school band and last but not least - Mr. Pierogi and his Pieroguettes.
The fair salutes it's Eastern European heritage with a little (maybe a LOT of) tongue-in-cheek. It's like no other festival you'll ever see or experience!
