Long Description:
The lock-up is also known as the Cage. It was used for the short-term imprisonment of local drunks or felons before they could be moved to larger accommodation. It was built in 1838 and is situated in the centre of the village near the War Memorial. (visit link)

There is an old faded date-stone above the door together with a new plaque.
