This is a sit, relax and reflect municipal park, not a playground and get crazy park. It is on a narrow swatch of land, with brick pavers. It has benches, a gazebo (donated by the Rotary Club of Blackwood, NJ) and gardens and nice landscaping. It was funded by the township and was dedicated to the memory of Alex H. The people who made the plaque didn't figure in that their cursive handwriting would be unreadable. The "H" is the most recognizable letter, so I abbreviated the last name. It is unintentionally disrespectful to the memory of this person, whoever he is. Anyway, it is a beautiful park and it sits inside the Blackwood historic district as found on the NRHP.
