This nice walking trail at Chemainus Lake Park allows dogs to walk off leash as long as they are under control. Trail is level and a scenic walk.
Because the area is large, and not enclosed, you would only walk your dog here if he/she listens well and obeys commands.
I personally would not let my dog off leash because he is a terrier and doesn't listen. However my previous dog, a retriever, would have been fine here.
