Hess Memorial Gardens is a family cemetery located about 3.5 miles north of Brownsville, Tn on Tn Hwy 54 at the junction of Ross Road.

Hess Memorial Gardens is an African-American cemetery located about 3.5 miles north of Brownsville, Tn on Tn Hwy 54.

A Works Progress Administration (WPA)survey from 1939 stated that it was established 25-30 years ago by Hess, that it was in use, about one acre in size and well kept, and contained about 20-25 graves.

As of 1998 there were 63 burials and a few more have been interred since then.
