The exact age of this house is not known but there are memories of it from the 1920's.It presently serves as a museum and a visitor center.

This house was built around 1905 it is thought.The house was sold in 1943 and was converted into an establishment of ill repute that was popular among many of the the servicemen that were stationed nearby during WWII.The house was sold at auction in 1987 and became a taxidermy studio.The house was donated to the city of Fort Pierce in 1997.It was moved here on a Sunday morning, June 21,1998.
