Long Description:
This bridge was one of several CCC projects in this very old state park in Georiga. This park is reputed to be the oldest state park in the nation.

The bridge contains a marker designating it as a CCC project.

During the Civil War this place was used as a resting place by part of General Sherman's army on their March to the Sea after the Battle of Atlanta.
