Long Description:Riley B. King - Indianola
It was on this corner, when B.B. King was just a young man of
17, that locals first heard the musician destined to become the
"King of the Blues." On june 6, 1980, B.B. King placed his
handprints and signature in the walk. (Corner referenced is Church
Avenue and Second Street across from the Sunflower County
courthouse)
