[FR] Alimente par une source qui s'ecoule dans le ru de la fontaine d'orry, le lavoir nous raconte les pratiques d'autrefois. Du village, les lavandieres descendaient leur brouette de linge, sans oublier une buche pour alimenter le poele.

Ce poele leur permettait d'avoir de l'eau chaude pour faire bouillir le linge et pour rechauffer un peu de cafe.

[EN] Fed by a spring which flows out in the Orry fountain brook, the lavoir tells us about the practices of another time. From the village, the washer woman brought down their wheelbarrow of laundry, not forgetting a log of wood to stoke the stove.

The stove allowed them to have hot water for boiling the laundry and to heat up a bit of coffee.
