At the corner of Allegheny Avenue and Western Avenue stands a 7-Eleven store. This location is about 3 blocks north of Heinz Field, which is the home stadium for the Pittsburgh Steelers [American] football team.

This store seems well situated to serve the crowds as they are either gathering or leaving the stadium. For me, it was a rest stop while on a bike tour of the bridges of Pittsburgh. Coming from the river, the store is at the top of a steady grade. At the time, part of the trail along the river was under construction and the detour was by the store. I stocked up on fluids, myself.
