Long Description:
While talking a walk up South Westnedge from our motel for coffee, I happened to find this octagonal residence. It is on private property and heavily surrounded by trees, the photographs do show this to be octagonal.
Switching the map in the upper right-hand corner to satelite image will alieve any doubt, but also there is a sign out front.
Allen Potter was Kalamazoo's first mayor. His home was built in 1853.
