A committed congregation with ministries involving the church body helping Meals-On-Wheels, Parish Nurse, Kingsport Area Food Ministry (associated with Angel Food Ministries), Inter-Faith Hospitality Network, etc. Outreach to the local community, US Gulf Coast, Montana, Honduras, Brazil, and beyond.
The original church building was erected in 1930. In 1947, a children's wing was added. Church growth led to a new sanctuary being constructed in 1971. Finally, the activities center across the road was purchased in 1991. Part of the Sullivan Baptist Association.
