Long Description:
This is the main base for the AAD at Kingston. Expeditioners get trained here and depart for the icy continent.
There is a snowmobile, scientific equipment, some Huskies (taxidermy-ed), two full-size models of expeditioners in their kit. And best of all for children (and older-children) a rack of Antarctic clothing and boots you can try on yourself.
Open Mon-Fri normal work hours.
