This is one of many granite posts used to mark the "corner" points on the boundary lines between towns in Massachusetts, in this case, the Town of Beverly and the Town of Danvers. The letters "B" (for Beverly) and "D" (for Danvers) are inscribed on opposite sides. It is approximately eight inches square and four feet high.

The marker is in the lawn on the north side of Conant Street.
