The adjacent church does not have a dated corner stone, although it was built in 1894, and that date is also inscribed in the school corner stone, that was build in 1928.
Spring Hill is a residential hilltop neighborhood overlooking the Pittsburgh north side and downtown. It is historically settled by german immigrants in the late 1800s.
