Quick Description: This is the ferry terminal at the port of Avalon, California, on Catalina Island. The Catalina Express passenger ferry docks here. Crossing time to and from San Pedro on the mainland is about 1 1/2 hours. Good facilities here.

Long Description:
There is no indoor waiting space here. There are gift shops, storage lockers, restrooms, places to book tours and other activities, and rentals of golf carts and bicycles is close by. No motorized vehicles are transported! So, these are the only modes of transportation, but most attractions are within walking distance, except fro the interior of the island which is best seen via tour.

There is also ferry service to Two Harbors, about 15 minutes away, the only other port on the island.
