This wonderful series of murals on Sherry's Drug sure catches your attention. My favorite scene is in the back of the store, and it shows a man peeking over an apothecary sign. Some of the scenes are: men sitting around talking outside on a nice day; a grocery store owner sweeping the entrance to his shop; a policeman directing traffic while a trolley car goes by; a man holding up an apothecary sign by a light post; a worker painting a high welcome sign, and one entire side of the building painted with pics of various apothecary/pharmacy supplies.
I noticed these murals on my way to UCO from the nearby Edmond Historical Museum.
Sherry's Drug is a small, private pharmacy located across the campus from the University of Central Oklahoma. They sell a lot more than just pharmacy items.
