This sign is located at the entrance to the "Organic Yak Farm" about 2 miles west of State Hwy 83 along Lake Gulch Rd. and about 10 miles southeast of Castlerock, CO

I found the sign to be quite hilarious (initially) and then started thinking about it....
"Just how fast are Yak's?"


After talking to the owner "Stewart Karp" of the "Organic Yak Farm" I found out that he placed the sign to dissuade local teens from hopping the fence and chasing the Yak and making them drop weight.

He say's "Yak's are very fast for their small stature...they are very protective of their young and will charge anything or anyone they deem a threat."

I don't think I will test just how fast they are with those horns.
