The land the Griffin Cemetery sits on was once owned by John Griffin, who deeded this land to his slave Shack Griffin, and been in the Griffin Family for 5 generations. It was once called "Bush Grove Cemetery."

This homemade tombstone is unique to me due to the design with inlaid marbles. They form the shape of a heart.
