Two big rigs were destroyed by fire on March 13, 2009 at the RMZ Truck Stop at Exit 5, I-93, in Londonderry, New Hampshire.

One big rig exploded, catching a second truck ablaze in a spectacular fire at this truck stop. The Derry Fire Department had the blaze contained within half an hour, and the fire did not spread to the nearby gas tanks, nor to other trucks which were quickly moved away from the scene.

Rigs are often parked here over night while drivers sleep elsewhere. No apparent cause for the inferno has been determined.
