?Located in southern Kingsbury County, South Dakota, Oldham has a population of 181 as of July 2008. This is a decrease in population of about 12% since the 2000 census.
The town was incorporated on January 23, 1917, and its population is made up of German, Norwegian, Irish, English, and Dutch ancestries.

Oldham Post 158 has a membership goal of 24 for 2010. This Post has its own building located on Main Street. The post moved to a larger building and the old post home is about a block east of the current one. The old building is falling into disrepair.
