Located in southern Kingsbury County, South Dakota, Oldham has a population of 181 as of July 2008. This is a decrease in population of about 12% since the 2000 census.
The town was incorporated on January 23, 1917, and its population is made up of German, Norwegian, Irish, English, and Dutch ancestries.
Oldham is a progressive community and a great place to live and raise your family. The town prides itself in a large variety of annual events and activities for all to participate in and enjoy. The Oldham Industrial Development Corporation was established in 1976, to further the economic development of the Oldham area and promote and assist the growth and development of business concerns.
