There are four plaques at this Pony Express monument.
Two are set in rocks in the shape of Nevada. The big plaque depicts the founders and gives a very simple map of the route taken by the Pony Express riders. The small one honors "Pony" Bob Haslam, considered the greatest of all Pony Express Riders.
There are two plaques that are set in rocks next to the monument described above. The small plaque honors the men who reenacted the Pony Express in 1960. The big plaque lists all the men who rode for the Pony Express.
